PhotoSensitive

We are forever grateful to the talented photographers who have given their time, energy and creativity to PhotoSensitive. All accomplished artists in their own right, each photographer has a generosity of spirit and a sensibility that allows them to see life. With each assignment, the photographers take on the responsibility of entering into people's lives, seeing and learning, and becoming more human.

Here, you will find details of our photographer friends, their PhotoSensitive work and links to their own websites. These pages are dedicated to those talented individuals who have given freely their time and energy to help us realize our visions. Thank you.

Sai Sivanesan
PROJECTS
Born in Sri Lanka, Sai Sivanesan’s parents moved to Nigeria in 1980. She was eight years old when she got my first camera, a Sunpet - 616 on a trip to the UK. Summers were spent traveling, Seychelles, India, England, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Kenya, Canada, the US and other places. By 1988, Nigeria was in a state of flux, under its second Military government. Sri Lanka was 4 years into a continuing civil conflict. The Nigerian currency lost its value overnight and her parent's expectations of wealth had evaporated; and Canada, Toronto, became home to another refugee family.
