Bill Grimshaw

Bill Grimshaw has been a career photojournalist since 1975. He joined The Canadian Press as a staff photographer in Ottawa in 1977. He was named Photojournalist of the Year by the ONPA in 1980. His career includes 13 years as Photo Editor and Chief Photographer at the Montreal Bureau of The Canadian Press. He travelled extensively domestically and abroad during this period, shooting pictures at sports and political events, including Olympic Games, Economic Summits, two Royal Weddings, foreign trips with Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, various Canada Cups, World Championships, NHL Hockey Finals, and numerous election campaigns.
