Boris Spremo
PROJECTS
Born in the former Yugoslavia and a graduate of Belgrade's Cinematographic Institute, Boris Spremo immigrated to Canada in 1957. After freelancing, he joined the Globe and Mail in 1962 and moved to The Toronto Star in 1966, where he worked until his retirement in 2001. Boris won over 280 photography awards, has worked all over the world and thrived in war zones, including Vietnam, Grenada and Iraq.
