Dick Loek
PROJECTS
Born in Amsterdam, Dick Loek came to Canada in 1962. He began his career at the Toronto Telegram, where he became chief photographer. His photography column for the Telly, Dick Loek's Women, was a first for Canadian newspapers. He became a staffer at the Toronto Star in 1971 and was the winner of this year's National Newspaper Award for sports photography. His great loves are his wife, photography and sailing.
