Lorna Whitfield began her photography career as a photojournalist based in Ontario, Canada where she then started shooting weddings as well in the “photojournalistic” style. She moved to the Cayman Islands in early 2008 where she began a new branch of photography, working as an underwater photographer. That career path lead me to the Bahamas in March 2009 where she worked for a year as both an underwater photographer and underwater videographer, focusing quite heavily on shark photography and videography. She eventually chose to return to her beloved Cayman Islands in May of this 2010 and took up a position as underwater videographer and photographer with a company in Grand Cayman. Although her current focus is underwater, she continues to shoot many weddings and due to the large amount of travel she’s done I also has an extensive collection of travel images for use and sale and am available for travel assignments whenever needed.
