Alexander and Joseph live with their single mom in low-income housing. Angela was waitressing when she had Alexander and coped with difficult working hours as she tried to raise her son. She plans to apply her business degree to start a cleaning business. "Right now the boys don't know that they are poor," Angela says. "I don't want them to know, because people tend to equate poverty with a person's worth, and I don't want them to think less of themselves."
